  • NO PATIENT WITH ANY UPPER RESPIRATORY SYMPTOMS HAYEVER ASTHMA COUGH COLD FLU SYMPTOMS SORE THROAT FEVER WILL BE SEEN AT THE PRACTICE UNLESS THEY CAN SHOW A NEGATIVE COVID TEST WHICH HAS BEEN DONE IN THE LAST 72 HOURS.
  • THESE PATIENTS WILL BE OFFERED TELEHEALTH CONSULTS AND PHONE CALL CONSULTS IF YOU ARE OUR PATIENT IN LINE WITH GOVERNMENT POLICY. THEY WILL BE REFERRED TO RESPIRATORY CLINICS IF THEY NEED AN EXAMINATION.
  • TELEHEALTH IS NOT AVALIABLE TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT ATTENDED THE PRACTICE ONCE THIS YEAR.
  • WE DO NOT SEE COVID CASES IN THE PRACTICE FACE TO FACE AND CAN ONLY OFFER TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN IN OUR PRACTICE ONCE IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS. ANY FACE TO FACE COVID CONSULTATIONS WILL BE REFERRED TO ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY AT RPAH, ST VINCENTS OR PRINCE OF WALES HOSPITAL OR THE RESPIRATORY CLINIC AT SPING STREET BONDI JUNCTION.
  • EVERYONE SHOULD ATTEND FOR COVID TESTING IF HEY HAVE ANY RESPIRATORY SYMPSTOM INCLUDING THOSE OF HAYFEVER: EACH HOSPITAL HAS A CLINIC THAT YOU CAN TURN UP AT RPAH, POW AND ST VINCENTS. PRIVATE CLINICS:  SPRING STREET RESPIRATORY CLINIC 9194 2788.  REDFERN COMMUNITY HEALTH 9395 0444.
  • NO ONE WILL BE BOOKED IN FOR CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE OR A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR RESPIRATORY ISSUES- YOU NEED TO GO TO COVID CLINIC AND GET TESTED.
  • WE DO NOT DO COVID TESTING HERE.
  • MASKS ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE PRACTICE.
  • IF YOU HAVE HAD A RECENT CLOSE CONT ACT YOU ARE TO PROVIDE THE PRACTICE A COPY OF A NEGATIVE COVID TEST WHICH HAS TO BE DONE IN THE LAST 72 HOURS IF YOU WISH TO HAVE A FACE TO FACE CONSULTATION.
  • THE SAME FEES THAT WE CHARGE FOR OUR FACE TO FACE CONSULTATIONS WILL NOW APPLY TO TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS AS OF OCTOBER 1 2020.   
  • FEES; $85 (MEDICARE REBATE $39.10) FOR A CONSULTATION LESS THAN 20 MINS, $135 (MEDICARE REBATE $75.75) FOR A CONSULTATION GREATER THAN 20 MINS, MENTAL HEALTH CONSULTATIONS $165 (MEDICARE REBATE $94.75)
  • PAYMENT WILL BE DEDUCTED AFTER CONSULTATION BY DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD, RECEPTION WILL ASK FOR YOUR DETAILS. CARD DETAILS WILL THEN BE DESTROYED. WE DO NOT KEEP CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS ON FILE. WE THEN FORWARD PAYMENT TO MEDICARE AND THEY WILL SEND YOU YOUR REBATE TO YOUR REGISTERED ACCOUNT.
